Parent Seminars

Community School Parent Seminars are conducted by school personnel, and focus on a variety of academic, social, and transition topics. Sessions are held virtually and are open to all Community School parents. Our next seminar will be on Tuesday, January 14th from 6:30 - 7:30pm.  Email Sandy Webb (swebb@communityschool.k12.nj.us) if you would like to participate!

How to access your account

Our Genesis Portal

For new parents, you will receive an email from chsoffice@communityschool.k12.nj.us. This email will provide you will a temporary password. You will be instructed to change your password. Please record your username and password for future logins to our system. You may also use the “Forgot Password” link to have a new password emailed to you. Parents Association

Our Parents Association plays an active role in building school spirit and community. Through fundraisers, school wide events, dances and picnics they help create meaningful experiences for students and families alike. Their partnership and dedication make our school a vibrant, connected place to learn and grow. 

  • To support, enhance and enrich the educational program of The Community School.
  • To sponsor and execute fundraising activities to benefit the students and programs of The Community School.
  • To facilitate communication and parent education, as well as encourage and coordinate volunteerism that supports the students, families, faculty and Administration of The Community School.
